iFLYTEK Global 1024 Developer Festival to Be Held in October

The 5th iFLYTEK Global 1024 Developer Festival will be held from October 22nd -25th in Hefei, China. The event will gather experts, business leaders, and AI developers to discuss opportunities and challenges in the AI industry through a series of events including press conferences, forums, exhibitions, an AI competition, charity activities, and an AI job fair.

The Festival will begin with the World Voice Expo with a press conference followed by 30 live summits and forums, in addition to 108 online forums. Top experts and business leaders from 18 fields—including energy, agriculture, tourism, finance, and environmental protection—will discuss emerging areas of AI applications, such as the industrial internet, the metaverse, and the digitalization of companies.

iFLYTEK will also display our latest AI technologies and products at the tech expo. Along with products related to the iFLYTEK Super Brain 2030 plan and the business service platform Lingyang, more than 1,300 AI products ranging from consumer products, healthcare, education, and others will go be on show.

iFLYTEK has worked with 58 partners including the China Information Association, National Intelligent Voice Innovation Center, Chang Guang Satellite, Tsinghua University, and the University of Science and Technology of China, to test AI developers through the iFLYTEK AI Developer Competition. The event sets 108 challenges around ten emerging industries, covering topics like the metaverse, green food, enterprise digitalization, and smart home technology in addition to 45 challenges around the “Industrial Internet”. So far, more than 30,000 AI developers have registered for the competition.

The iFLYTEK AI Developer Competition is complimented by an innovation and application competition for university students, which includes an AI-themed debate, a teenage sci-tech innovation and practice event, and a virtual figure design match. Cao Xue, the creator of the Beijing 2022 Olympic mascot Bing Dwen Dwen, will judge the virtual figure design contest.

iFLYTEK will also celebrate its philanthropic projects for those with sensory disabilities at the 2022 iFLYTEK Global 1024 Developer Festival to highlight how technology can be a common good.
