On April 2nd, Dr. Cao Xue, creator of the Beijing 2022 Olympic mascot Bing Dwen Dwen, signed a cooperation agreement with iFLYTEK for collaboration on visual design standards for iFLYTEK products.
Dr. Xue, a professor and master tutor with the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and one of the Top 10 Designers in China, will advise the company’s User Interface (UI) and product designs to enhance the user experience.
Dr. Cao has significant experience in creating novel designs for major social and national programs. His rich experience in product design, creative design, and branding, contributed to the success of the Beijing 2022 Olympic mascot Bing Dwen Dwen, which he and his team created, as well as the beautiful landscape designs for the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. His works have won multiple prizes including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, IDEA Awards, and Pentawards.
Before signing the cooperation agreement with iFLYTEK, Dr. Cao had designed the logo of “iFLYTEK Startups” and advised on its development in December 2021. The logo combines the letter “i” and the Chinese characters “Xun Fei (abbreviation of the Chinese version of iFLYTEK)” and is intended to resemble flowing water, symbolizing the company’s mission to be a responsible business and societal actor. Specifically, the letter “i” with a light blue dot represents intelligence and imagination, reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of iFLYTEK Startups. Additionally, the “i” is combined with the character “Xun” to symbolize iFLYTEK’s leading role in the field of artificial intelligence.
With Dr. Cao’s broad expertise in creative design and branding, iFLYTEK is optimistic that its missions and values can be embodied in its creative content, and that this heightened cooperation will strengthen the brand value of iFLYTEK.
