The 2022 iFLYTEK 1024 Global Developer Festival Indonesia City Summit was recently held in Jakarta with the theme “AI Innovation & Mobile Interconnectivity”. The summit brought together iFLYTEK partners, tech industry leaders, and AI enthusiasts to explore the development and applications of multilingual technology.
Zhou Chuanfu, General Manager of Universal Language Technology, noted in his opening remarks that iFLYTEK has considerable experience in multilingual technology and application and offers its own solutions in many use cases and industries, covering Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, and other countries and regions. For example, in 2020, iFLYTEK launched an overseas station in Singapore and this year will open a South Korean station, with plans for more overseas platforms in the future to provide customers and developers with quality service and technology.
Jeffery Wang, the Overseas Regional Manager of iFLYTEK, discussed the development of the iFLYTEK Open Platform. Since its establishment 12 years ago, the AI capabilities and solutions of iFLYTEK Open Platform have continuously improved. Since then, 513 unique AI capabilities and solutions including speech synthesis, text-to-speech code, machine translation services, and AI SaaS have been launched, connecting over five million partners in the AI ecosystem.
At the final roundtable, participants discussed issues and opportunities with the development, application, strengths, and challenges of multilingual AI technology in the mobile internet. The need to utilize the internet for AI applications was discussed and repeatedly emphasized.
Working in the field of text-to-speech code for 23 years, iFLYTEK has never stopped its pursuit of technological innovation to enable multilingual human-computer interaction and to overcome language barriers. iFLYTEK speech recognition technology is now available in 69 languages, covering more than 200 countries and regions around the world. In the future, various AI capabilities and solutions, including iFLYTEK’s multilingual technology, will continue to help AI enterprises go global and empower local enterprises in Indonesia.
