2022 iFLYTEK 1024 Global Developer Festival: iFLYTEK Promotes Use of Industrial Internet in Yangtze River Delta

On November 19, the Fifth World Voice Expo & the Yangtze River Delta Industrial Internet Summit of the 2022 iFLYTEK 1024 Global Developer Festival was held in Hefei, China.

Feng Kejin, Director General of the Anhui Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology opened the event and welcomed participants. He noted that it is imperative to seize strategic opportunities and accelerate the pace of the growth of the Industrial Internet to achieve high-quality development of the manufacturing sector and to bolster new industrial strengths in the Yangtze River Delta.

Participants shared key insights about integrating digital tools to build industrial strength, digital development, and cutting-edge technologies, while also exploring the latest actions and new trends of the Industrial Internet.

To advance the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta Entrepreneurs Union joined with the Yangtze River Delta Artificial Intelligence Industrial Chain Alliance to launch the 2022 “Top Ten Outstanding Figures of AI in the Yangtze River Delta” and “Top Ten Innovative Applications of AI in the Yangtze River Delta” rankings. The award ceremony was held at the Yangtze River Delta Industrial Internet Summit.

iFLYTEK Chairman and Co-Chair of the Yangtze River Delta Entrepreneurs Union Liu Qingfeng presented the awards for the 2022 “Top Ten Outstanding Figures of AI in Yangtze River Delta” while Niu Nutao, a member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Director General of Anhui Provincial Economic Commission, presented awards to the winners of the 2022 “Top Ten Innovative Applications of AI in Yangtze River Delta”.

At the end of the summit, Gong Tao, Deputy General Manager of the Industrial Intelligence Business Department of iFLYTEK, presented the “Six Industrial Senses”—a new product that simulates the five human senses of taste, smell, vision, hearing, and touch, plus a “mind” in industrial scenarios. Based on the five senses plus the industrial brain, it introduces AI technology to enable the industrial production process with intelligent perception and gradually develop the ability of movement and cognition. This new product allows intelligent decision-making and provides solutions in many areas of the industrial production process, such as equipment management safety inspection, energy savings, and carbon emission reduction to help achieve digitization in all industrial scenarios.

Liu Jie, General Manager of the R&D Department of the Digital Business Group of iFLYTEK, showcased the Xiaowu Digital Robot Platform. Liu elaborated on the three core function modes of the platform—designer, executor, and manager—and highlighted how it solves issues such as the creation of information and data silos and fills previous processing gaps. In this way, Xiaowu serves as a source of innovation for the digital transformation of enterprises.
